Its pretty sad when...

you bowl in a big money league ($21/week), they oil the lanes until 7:10 when you're supposed to start at 6:50 for practice...

then!

you go 257-210-181-151, and can barely keep a Combat Zone Tracer on the right hand side of the pocket the last 30 frames, eesh!

anyone else encounter a time where your weakest brunswick ball is burning up at about 40 feet?

it was so bad, a 15 year level headed pro flipped off the pins
(proud to say, i kept composed and outscored him 790-750 )

How about every Wed night.  By the middle of game 2 my Monster slayer is ripping up 40 boards.

That is pretty bad when the ball is ripping so hard it creates another board.

These instances are a perfect example of why I am glad I can throw and score with plastic.

Lefty,

i cant wait to get outta there.
7 weeks left, i think my team is at .300 now, sandbaggers galore!
every team we've bowled against in the 2nd half bowl about 50-75 total pins above each game (3 man teams!).

im thinking of moving to sunset, latham bowl or boulevard for next season.

im actually in the process of making a decision on whether i use my combat zone tracer the rest of the season, or punching up the insite almighty i just acquired for cheap or using both.

my absolute, original inferno, H2O and Uranium are in the garage the rest of the season after seeing the irresponsibility of the owners and lack of lane/machine maintenance.

what?!? your complaining because lanes break down? Its called "bowling" and my favorite part of "bowling" is when guys like you complain the track is too dry and i am in front of the ball return with the front 9. Instead of complaining why don't you grab your H2O and move your feet.

Homer Simpson - "Stupid Dean!"

The combat zone tracer is my weakest piece of equipment, weaker than my H2O.

i did move my feet to the left dots and shot over 4th arrow and 3rd arrow, it was DOA at the break, not even DOA at the pins.

when i did swing it, it was flush on the 3/6 pins, when i was outside it was flush with the front of the head pin.

i flattened out my release, and even tried fluffing it, with no results.

and from what i see, anything in your arsenal would have been even more useless than my combat zone tracer last night, unless you enjoy shootin with 3 piece plastic.

when you get a little older junior bowler, roll with the big boys, where its easy to get frustrated by half the league averaging 220+ and changing patterns from the owner, the people that gut it out are the ones that walk home with the game check.

whats wrong with the owners changing the pattern. If somebody is averaging 220 or as you say half the league then its you not the lanes. You think 4th arrow is deep? Your calling me an inexperienced junior bowler then your on crack. ask any junior bowler on this site what i think of dry lanes. I am sure out of all the tourneys i have bowled across the country i have seen something as dry as your little house league.

Actually, I do enjoy shootin with 3 piece plastic. Nice controlled move to the pocket, you always know where its goin, lets you play an easy path to the pocket.
