Why has there never been a Towering Inferno?  Seems like a good name for a ball in that line.

I agree. I've been waiting and waiting.

"FIRING Inferno" is almost ... I want to say, "dumb" but that's PI.
Sounds like a bad imitation of the "Blazing Inferno" a great name for an excellent light oil ball.

Maybe Firing Inferno translates better overseas than it sounds stateside?

   They would be sued, they probably don't have the rights to the name. I think there was a movie called The Towering Inferno.

wouldn't flaming inferno sound better than firing? just my opinion.
