Karma Solid vs Reckless

I've read where the Reckless is a great benchmark ball. I currently have a Karma Solid and a Green/Blue Karma Pearl (undrilled). Could the Solid fill the Benckmark role like the Reckless?

I would say yes that the Karma Solid can be your benchmark ball.  I would suggest drilling the Karma Pearl (blue/green) with a Pin up drilling and a little weaker than the Karma Solid currently is drilled.  Then, take the polish off of the Karma Solid and take it to 1000 or 2000 so that it can handle a little heavier oil and smooth out the reaction on the back end.  If the Karma Solid with the sanded surface starts hooking too much or too early, then you can go to the Karma Pearl (blue/green).  The Karma Solid and Pearl (blue/green) compliment each other well because they both have Powerkoil 18 coverstocks.

The Karma is weaker than the Reckless but still can be your benchmark. Typically a benchamark ball is transitions smoother. With the layout on the Karma you have you may need to add a touch of surface to the cover. This will smooth out the reaction. Typically you want your benchmark ball to be smoother so it gives you a better read of where you should be playing.

Just picked this ball up  and was wonder what to expect...

The ball appears to get down the lane okay but is it very jumpy when it touches friction...

Was watching a few clips on the ball and doesnt look that aggressive but I could be wrong..
