Kingpin Max vs Tremendous
« on: May 08, 2018, 08:56:08 PM »
How do the covers of these balls compare?
Anyone throw both?

Thanks

I've had both. My max seemed about an arrow stronger than my tremendous solid.
The tremendous is just early and often. Pretty heavy rolling ball. The Kingpin max even though it comes duller still gets down the lane better and has a little more bag down the lane.

Interesting.  I see mine the other way around but it could be the patterns I am on + layouts.  My Max is 70x4.5x70 (pin down) and my Tremendous is 50x4.75x70 (pin down)
Lately we have been bowling a lot on 41' Tower of Pisa in a super slick house and I start up 8-9 with my Max.  I usually ball down to my Tremendous by the middle of game 2 as it is a little cleaner through the front with more motion down the lane to better kick the corners as I open up my angles.
