Lethal Revolver vs Revolver
« on: August 25, 2011, 07:19:13 AM »
I need some help from the Brunswick folks.  The charts on the website have me slightly confused as do some of the reviews here.  I know drilling is a huge factor so lets say both balls are drilled the same...brunswicks drilling specs for max hook and arc, for example.  The bowler specs are 350 revs/18 mph. With out of box finish, which ball will be more angular to the pocket?  According to the website specs, the Lethal is longer and more angular but when you sort all balls by reaction shape the Revolver is rated more angular.

Thanks for your help.

IME, with the same layout and surface preparation, the Revolver will react stronger to friction and have a sharper change of direction than the Lethal.  The Revolver will also have a few more feet of length than the Lethal.

For me, the Lethal works better on conditions where I want to play more direct (say, to bump an oil line), while I'll use the Revolver when I can give the ball more room to the outside (to hook around a push spot, for example).

Hope this helps.
