Has anyone drilled up a goliath 3.5 X 3.5? I'm punching mine up tonight... I want something strong in the mids for lots of oil... Does this layout roll well? Or would I be better off using some other layout (perhaps a label)?

I have mine layed out label shift and this ball rolls really well....I would recommmend a label drilling for this one because of the coverstock and keeping it from burning up too quick....

thanks Bob... I probably will go with a little longer pin to PAP then... Although I'm not 100% how much this will actually chance the look (now that I sit here and think a little).. I would imagine the reaction is going to be largely dictated by the high load particle surface... good idea with the fine tuning using a weight hole...
thanks,

If I had a Goliath available for me, what would be the best early roll drilling for someone who has a high track? I already have a Nemesis drilled 1L (love this ball) and a Warp Zone drilled label (2nd drill) but lately been going over the thumbhole and I plan on selling it...

I have mine with the pin about 1" below and right of the ring finger. CG is underneath the pin. The ball ended up with thumb weight. It is great on heavy oil. The ball is surprisingly good on a typical house shot as long as there are fresh backends.

I like the idea of changing the reaction with this ball by adjusting it's surface. You can really change the length by taking this ball to 1500 - 2500 and then polishing. A stronger drilling will then work, without burning up too early. This ball really has the ability to blend out those wet/dry conditions or get into a good roll on saturated heads.
