comparable to an x-zone te1

I want a ball that will be similar to the x-zone te1, I had one, threw it great, and had a the most success with it that i had with any ball... then i fell into the lane 1 trap and sold it. Now i want another one! for those of you that dont remember.. pk18 pearl on one of the rhino cores... any help would be great

IIRC, the TE 1 was re-released as the Monster SmashR (and the TE 2 re-released as the Monster ScreamR).  PK 18 over a Command Zone Arc core.  However, I could be wrong about this...

I know the TE2 did become the ScreamR.

The TE1 core's specs are RG: 2.514-2.546, RG Diff: .032
I'd guess the core was the same as the TE2 and the ScreamR's, since the specs are identical.

Dusty, I think the RG Diff of the TE1 is much less than the SmashR's diff.
SmashR - RG: 2.536-2.577. Diff =.041

I don't believe the TE1 was ever released as named ball, but I could be wrong.

I remember having seen those specs, both on this site and in literature at the pro shop, so I didn't really think so either.  However, more than a few pro shop operators that I knew at the time said that these specs were incorrect, and that the TE 1 actually used the CZA core.

Anyone out there with a TE1 who would be willing to X-ray it for us?

I don't remember the place or where but if I remember right both balls were based on the Teal Rhino weightblock.  TE1 was polished PK 18 and TE 2 was same core and ncontrol powerstock pearl and  became the monster scream/r.

I am almost sure that the
Walter Ray though a different coverstock is same core and specs as TE1.  Let me tell you with that core and PowerSurge 15 it is enough ball!  Great backend.

I've got ONE!

But I've found it to handle medium well.  I have mine drilled strong with a strong weighthole.  Actually handled more condition than my polished Time Zone did!

To start the Walter Earlier obviously more surface works or a drilling with pin and cg shifted down a tad would give a very similar roll!

PPPPS Another ball with similar core specs is the Pirahna Retro.  Low rg like TE1 and similar diff.  But obviously it's not Brunswick.  I have one but have not been able to compare to Sir Walter!

The core specs on the TE1 and the fact that you said it's a pearl PK18 makes it sound identical to a Fire Quantum, IMHO

The Rhino Pro X or one of the RevolutionIZE's sound around the mark, unless your Nick Smith i'd imagine finding a good one would be a bit of a battle though!
