From our own website here:
"The ZoneX Tour Editions are low RG, low differential RG reactive cover stock balls designed to provide increased mid-lane roll when compared to higher RG reactive cover stock balls. The TE1 uses PowrKoil 18 reactive cover stock for aggressive response to dry areas of the lane. The TE2 uses N'Control PowerStock reactive cover stock for a more moderate response to dry areas of the lane. The specifications of the Zone X TE1 (Yellow Pin) are: Part Number 60-103419; Cover stock: PowerKoil18 Reactive; RG Max: 2.546; RG Min: 2.514; RG Diff.: 0.032; RG Avg: 1.9; Hardness: 75-77; Color: Mega Blue Pearl; Surface Finish: Factory Polished; Weights: 15-16 lbs. The specifications of the Zone X TE1 (Orange Pin) are: Part Number 60-103420; Cover stock: N'Control PowerStock Reactive; RG Max: 2.546; RG Min: 2.514; RG Diff.: 0.032; RG Avg: 1.9; Hardness: 77-79; Color: Mega Blue Pearl Surface Finish: Factory Polished; Weights: 15-16 lbs."
I know the TE2 did become the ScreamR.
The TE1 core's specs are RG: 2.514-2.546, RG Diff: .032
I'd guess the core was the same as the TE2 and the ScreamR's, since the specs are identical.
Dusty, I think the RG Diff of the TE1 is much less than the SmashR's diff.
SmashR - RG: 2.536-2.577. Diff =.041
I don't believe the TE1 was ever released as named ball, but I could be wrong.
