LT48 and Radical Grease Monkey Whack
« on: March 29, 2015, 06:14:59 AM »
I'm looking to drill these two balls with 5.5 and 5 inch pin-to-pap. But I'm a bit unsure which way to go. One idea is laying out the LT48 with 5.5x5x3 and the Whack with 5x5x2.5. Would these different layouts produce a noticeable difference in ball reaction? My feeling is that the Whack should go a bit longer and be more angular than the LT48. I would use the Whack on slightly heavier/longer patterns and the LT40 when it dries out. Does all this makes sense?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think you're fine with that thinking. By design the Whack will hook more and be more angular downlane "apples to apples".

You could in all honesty drill them identical and fine tune with surface and balance holes as well.

Thanks much for the tip. I think I find the idea of laying both of them out the same and fine tuning quite appealing.
