How would this ball compare to a Strike King and highly polished Teal Rhino Pro?  I have both of those for light to medium oil.  Obviously the Strike King has a surprising amount of backend and ability to handle oil, depending on the surface.  The TRP is great on THS -- especially together with my Gold Rhino Pro -- but not so good on the dry.  My guess is that's where this Groove fits in, as it seems to really only get reaction from the cover (not the core).  I'm thinking about putting Mo's PBA plastic Ball layout on it.

I pm'ed kidlost2000 as he has all of the Grooves, but I'm curious if any of you other Brunswick people have thoughts.

While Mo's special drilling will add some dynamics to the pancake core, I still doubt if the Pearl urethane cover will compare to even the weakest of resin balls. The only cover that I think will come close to a urethane one is the Power Groove Dry/R, & you're not talking about that one. I'd suspect the StrikeKing and the Rhino will be at least one notch up from the Groove Pearl. If you have dry enough conditions and enough hand, the Groove could certainly work.

Thanks Jeff.  I have almost no hand (revs around 225, speed around 12-13 mph) so this ball would probably work well for me down the outside.  I like to play the twig if I have a weak enough ball to do it.  I used to kill that shot with a Faball Norm Duke Signature Hammer -- weak reactive resin ball with a lightbulb core.
