I think this Mastermind will be a better ball overall; the first one is almost "too" strong and not able to be used on most conditions. I'm excited to see a hybrid cover from Big B--- not a huge fan of the core (didn't like the Aura series either) but maybe they'll use the new cover on some old 'Zone cores for a more modern look?

So, why a new LT-48? Are they discontinuing the Strike King line? How much different will the shape/reaction be over the Platnium and original Ringer?
Reax-45x4.5x40(pin down)
Nexus (original)- 45 x 4 x 35 (pin up)
503t-45x4.5x40
Source-60 x 5.5 x 50
Nexxxus f(p+s)-70x5.5x35
Marauder-55x5x50 (2k+polish)
300t-60x5.5x50 (+polish)
Melee-75x6x40 -- Anyone want to buy this?

The plan is to release one Vintage ball per year.

That should be a future topic:  What is next year's Vintage release?  But not yet!  Let's take a few months to enjoy what we already have!

Genius looks pretty but the idea of the vintage line has me really excited. They could release multiple Vintage balls all at once, and make alot of people happy. My Dream List would be:
1. Teal Rhino
2.Gold Rhino
3.Saphire Zone
4. Danger Zone
5. Combat Zone
6. Inferno.
7. Eliminator
Way to go Brunswick a great idea.

How about a Mark-X, minus the ripples in the cover.

Definitely going to pick up the genius...seems like a ball that could work on medium given the right layout...I thought the orignal would be to much ball for my conditions but I know a guy who has been hammering every week since he got one

...As if every Storm or Roto ball was the first ever to use their chosen color scheme...

Let's be real here.  Whether one company learns something from another really doesn't matter.  Look at Roto Grip's "learning from" the DV8 success the past year in their marketing with loud colors and names, etc.  I had a rep from that factory admit it, but really, who cares?  It's a competitive market, and if you think these companies are not watching each other very closely you're naive.

A few years back a certain manufacturer had a new Brunswick release before I had even gotten mine, and they had it cut in half...

Ooooookay.  Didn't they say the same thing about the Melee?  Aren't people finding out the Melee goes long and doesn't over hook?  The LT-48 is a Melee in the color they should have made it in the first place.

The LT-48 will be weaker than the Melee and smoother reaction.

No, the Vintage LT-48 is a solid reactive.

LOL! I threw a friend's Melee to see how it'd roll for me. The numbers from his layout as a righty would be pretty much my benchmark. 1 ball,... went 60ft. LOL! I like the idea of the LT-48, I know it isn't intended for a guy like me but I think it may be in my bag.

Its all a joke.  Strike King=LT-48=Melee.  At least that's what Brunswick's videos and commentary would have you believe.
