Uhhhh, my assumptions have each ball interchangable in that equation as they are all the same.
Long Gone also posts the honest truth which is why i respect him. He posts these things knowing some may not like it.

I don't know yet, but my Melee is stronger than the Strike King. The Melee and the Platinum Ringer are pretty close, but I would anticipate the LT-48 being much more smooth than the Strike King or Platinum Ringer off the breakpoint.  Will I play similar areas on the lane?  Probably within a few boards... Stay tuned.

Bowlersdeals.com has the their videos up.  As long as it's the normal lane condition the lt-48 doesn't appear to be much weaker than most entry level balls.  But that could be the THS talking.

The genius in comparison to the soul and virtual energy only looks similar not exact.   The green is more prominent and minty.

The soul has navy and the energy had more a darker teal/emerald color.

It's those wonderful stock pics.  Why do the manufacturers do that?  Utah does it, San Antonio does it, Mexico does it...Kentucky does it. ...why? I understand they put the "actual color or pattern may differ" lone but still?

Mastermind is way too much ball for me. But the vintage series excites me.

Since I still have a Teal Rhino Pro, Gold Rhino Pro, Raven Quantum - and I've owned and sold a Danger Zone, Sapphire Zone solid, Combat Zone (solid and pearl), and numerous Quantums (Fire, Jade, Violet, Imperial, and Forest Green) - I'd like to see a reissue of the Sapphire Zone Pearl. PK17 pearl and Zone core! I would've said Fire Quantum but I have my Ringer lol.

I like the look of the LT-48. Not sure I will buy one but doesn't mean I wouldn't for the right price heh.

you guys are getting super specific on certain releases..

It will be a phantom, a rhino, a quantum, a zone, and a inferno so on and so fourth....There won't be 7 quantums lol.

Lets be honest, if they put out a gold rhino pro, it would sell like mad!

You can say that again. Part of the IQ Tour Pearls success I attribute to the aesthetic look of the Gold Rhino. The average bowler, you know the one with beer belly, wrangler jeans, and floppy hair with no product in it would say "Is that an old rhino pearl? "

Considering the ball is in looks only and uses new covers and cores I wouldn't expect them to bring back any coverstocks like pk17 ect. It will be a new take on the original for "todays conditions". Assuming this makes it pass a one ball release. Ebonite did an anniversary of the Puma and Nitro that didn't really go over well. The three overseas releases of the Zone, Rhino, and Quantum looked good so who knows.
…… you can't  add a physics term to a bowling term and expect it to mean something.

Good call on the Puma, the re release was a dart. A lot of people want these nostalgic balls because they shot 258 in 2001 in league one time.

If they really want to bring back a great ball, I would opt for the Vapor Zone.  My guess is they already have just with a different cover color, and shell name.

If you want Infernos look at the Radical Torrid Elite and Torrid Affair.
I love the old school look of the all black LT-48.  Makes me think of the Versa!

How about a Mark-X, minus the ripples in the cover.

Shot one of my highest series with that ball!

I think it was because I could grip the ripples.
