I'll jump on board here too. The Intellect offers as much (or more) down-lane motion as any solid I've ever thrown. As such, if you keep it at box finish, you really have to watch where and how you use it because the backend can actually be a bit too much for most people. What I've found is that the Intellect is at it's best when the backends start to soften up and I need something that can make it up the hill when everything else is starting to quit. When that happens, the Intellect is amazing!
I've considered changing the surface so that I get a smoother, more-controllable reaction earlier in blocks, but my original Mastermind already gives me that. As such, the Intellect is a perfect go-to ball when the Mastermind starts to burn up too much early.
Long story short, like any other ball, if you figure out when/how to use it, you're going to LOVE it! I plan on bringing mine with me to El Paso. I've heard the backends start to soften up a bit as the oil pushes down. If that's true, the Intellect should be just what the doctor ordered as the set moves along!
