Considering buying either a Masrermind or Endless Nightmare. Have not thrown a DV8 since the Hellraiser but I really liked that ball. Still have a Nexus that I like and use from time to time.
I have not seen any post comparing the two balls. Let me know your thoughts about how they compare.
All things being equal, I would go with the Mastermind based on the 135/154 price.

What type of reaction are you looking for in either ball? Both are the strongest balls that DV8 and Brunswick make. The Mastermind is stronger than the Endless with both getting through the front part of the lane easily and having a strong downlane movement. Also, they are intended for heavier oil condition, and might not work the best on lighter volumes.

I am looking for a ball to use on longer sports shot with not as much friction outside. My PAP is 6 over3/4 up, and ball speed 14-16 quibica. What I would like by way of reaction would be for the ball to pickup in the midlane with a controlled, strong and consistent move on the back. When I say strong, I mean a defined consistent movement, not necessarily covering mega boards, as this is not going to happen on a longer sport shot with my rev rate and speed.

The Mastermind is a little stronger with most of the strength being down lane. You can't go wrong with either one but given the price difference you stated the Mastermind is probably the better choice.

I agree with what Chris stated. With the description you gave, and what your looking for the Mastermind will be great. Obviously the Endless will be great too, but Mastermind is a little more and it looks to be more at the downlane.
