Mastermind/Melee success
« on: November 20, 2013, 02:55:18 PM »
Since receiving my balls, I have had a lot of success with these balls. The Mastermind is just plain something that Brunswick has never had. I know broken record right... Mastermind is stronger in the right spots. Brunswick has never had a solid strong ball like this corner this hard.

Melee is simply amazing. It is my favorite ball. Used it to win a tournament a few weeks ago. Clean and a very pronounced move off the spot. Does not flip but a hard arc would describe it properly. If you liked or loved the Versa, you will love this ball too.

So over the last 3 weeks, I have won a tournament and bowled at least 15 games with 9 plus strikes. Last night had 278, 257 with the Mastermind then changed to the Melee did not move my feet and had 280 for 815. I can really see different shapes with these releases than they have offered in the past.

Adam,

Great bowling! My Mastermind hasn't had the attention it deserves because I cannot put my Melee down!

I will probably use it tomorrow for league and hopefully do it justice.  I have long contended that the true test of a great ball is one that looks good when I use it! ;)

I am very pleased with the Melee and Platinum Ringer thus far, and expect no less from the Mastermind.  I hope to have a fraction of your early success.

I think brunswick repeated (in a good way) the success they had with the first nexus solid.  Just as a video viewer and someone who has some brunswick fanboy friends...this one looks great! Plus you cant beat that rebate!
In the bag [Infinite Physix, Volatility Torque, Night Road, Phaze III, Burner Solid, Hustle AU]
*Now Testing* IQ Ruby, Renevant, another IQ Tour solid
Coming soon...???

Your correct. The original Nexus Solid was a great ball. I see a lot of similarities on these two. The Mastermind is cleaner, more angular and stronger. It's nice to have a strong ball that you can still use as the pattern breaks down.
