Title: Maxxed-Out: Modern day V2?
Post by: djones on September 05, 2012, 05:56:42 PM
It's been a few years since I purchased a Big B ball. The Maxxed-Out looks interesting. Low RG High diff symmetric, strong solid cover.

A dozen years ago, Ebonite introduced the V2; Low (very low) RG high diff symmetric, strong solid (for that period) cover. Turns out, the V2 became one of the best balls of the reactive era.

Has anyone, other than myself, feel we are looking at a modern day V2 in the Maxxed-Out?

My Maxxed Out gives me a great read on the lane when I want to play a little deeper than the Versa Max allows.  There is no quit on the back end with it at all.

Although I have no experience with the V2 (I think I was around 12 when it was released, so I was a little young to be a ball whore!), I'm confident that my 3 Maxxed-outs excel on more conditions than most peoples' entire arsenals. A terrific ball at a price that won't break the bank. Not to mention that it's the big brother of possibly the best Brunswick ball in the past several years.
