Smokin' Inferno - 6 Months in review...
« on: December 22, 2005, 05:44:21 PM »
No rejuvination.

No resurfacing.

Just basic cleaning and grip/tape changing.

Ball is simply AMAZING! Still is as strong as it came out of the box, Activator Advance has to be a miracle coverstock! Such a predictable read, and phenomenal carry. Just excited about this ball, and the fact that I've had the same one since the Mini in July! Once again, thanks to my compadres for the ball!

Shot 300 tonight the last game of league to beat a 299 for the sidepots and king of the hill, so I'm still all happy in pants.

That's a pretty high number..  Not even my Intense or Raging Inferno makes my numbers that high... My Taget Zone does though! It's pink

I wish I had kept mine.  I sold it to a teammate who claims he absolutely hates it.

Well DUR, he throws 18mph with a lot of revs on flooded lanes.  I told him to rough buff it if he's going to keep using it on that condition.

Mine's in box condition, and I'm still very happy with it.  It looks great going down the lane and is very predictable (don't ask how it's drilled... that's what I pay my coach/driller for).  Had 665 with it last night

Just got mine today, hope it lives up to what you guys say it is. . .
Also mine is a wierd color. I know people have posted threads about more black/silver or more of the goldish looking color. But my "ivory" color is actually a pinkish color. what gives?

Its hard to play with an inferno and not get burned. Last time I threw my inferno, the opposing bowler definitely got burned.

Gordo,

Take some shine off first. If not, possibly a redrill or moving weighthole inside of pap might help also.

Sorry #1 is consult trustworthy pro-shop.

How about posting when your ears ain't so wet.

Nick,

Nice shooting. I have yet to write my review on my Smokin' and have not had the big single score yet, but 220 avg and 7 - 700s so far this year speak volumes. We have a saying now on my team, "If you don't have an inferno, get one!!  Everyone should have one!" Great ball.
