I'd like to update my comments a little about my Ringer Solid.
I first took it to 3000 and applied Brunswick Polish. It could almost close to the hole in my center that seems to force most of the stronger handed lefties in my house to the center.
Being in that group I just couldn't quite carry with this rounded shape symmetric. I considered adding surface but naturally as thrown surface gets gradually added. In addition I had added Ebonite Factory Polish which I consider a little more responsive off of the friction Than Brunswick Factory Finish. I overcoated by the way.
Now,,,,that extra drive..
Last night a strange warmup...and I couldn't get my recently killer Storm UpRoar to see any oil in the heads and somehow saw a ton of oil downlane.
Got out the Ringer Gorgeous Blue and Kaboom. For the last two games on the same line this ball saw oil in the heads and friction down lane and looked like the perfect top hat ball.
To keep me off 250 250 I had to throw one sideways and one of my opponents on the left slipped in a urethane wide for game 3 and finally I pinged 3 7 pins at the end of game 3. Before that the midlane square up and flush was exciting. Another night with this type of matchup could even make me look good!
To correct my error of a slightly too weak drilling on this midlane oriented core I did not feel I had the surface to match and may have finally tweaked to really make this ball look incredible. I had been told this was a super league ball.....
Typically I use balls like on this pattern with Assymetry or Strong Flip blocks like My Tropical Heat.
Somehow either the pattern is tweaked or I have started pushing a little wider to my breakpoint that balls like this Blue Orb and my UpRoar from Storm are starting to round up early enough and deliver smashing hits to the 1-2 pocket.
I'll update on continued usability!

Luckylefty
PS I still don't know how this Solid ball pushed better than my Pearl UpRoar in the heads and then read more friction downlane. Playing the same line! Sometimes a mystery!
PPS I have picked up an LT 48 and will be setting it up to compare.
