Its obvious that he is an accomplished bowler, but with such low axis coordinates (3 1/2 over and 1 1/2 up) does he turn it early? It doesnt appear that he does. Any insight to this?

According to Insiders, even with that weird PAP, he's not a low-track spinner. It sort of goes to show that how close you track to the finger holes isn't the whole story when it comes to PAP. A 6" PAP with a lot of axit tilt will have a significantly different track than a 6" PAP with very little axis tilt.

Two things. First it's not about how high the axis point is, it's all about how wide the diameter of his track is.
Second about mika's hand, it goes to show you that not everyone has a span over 5inches when they are 6 foot plus(6'5)
Also that is likely cut to cut, and he is using Turbo's switch grip system.

I remember a posting regarding Mika's grip. His "true" span is much longer, but he switched the shorter span and different pitches to help him get more projection down lane (I believe that was the reasoning)
