Based on advice here, I wanted to end up with a Total that had a 5inch pin to pap distance with the pin under due to my higher speed. Unfortuantely, we ended mismarking the pap, and the pin came under the middle finger....for me who has a relatively high track. I come about a half inch from the thumb and maybe 1 from the fingers, so my pap is high with minimal side roll.
I dont have my quarter scale yet, so I think I ended up with a 6inch distance. Im sure most drillers on here have a better estimate. I wait til I go home to get balls drilled because the shop at school is decent at best. I lost trust in them.
The ball rolls with absolutely no flair unless I try and add some tilt and side roll, then it starts rolling stronger and come alive.
Out of the box, I play less hand and get it to roll up the boards. If I try and move inside and feed it back out to the dry, it never recovers. The movement to the pocket is too weak.
The oil pattern broken down, starts at 1,000 units or a volume of 1,000? Cant remember what the units were, but the house typically has 750-1,000 in the middle with an 8 to 1 ratio. At times, it drops to 4.5 to 1.
Im considering redrilling the fingers with the pin under the ring finger. This should shift the pin to pap distance about an inch? This will also stack the pin and cg. I would just have to redrill a new thumb slug
The Cg is below the center of span and kicked out a quarter of an inch.
Is this a bad idea to allow me to move my feet into the inside, add more flare and actually have the ball finish stronger? The breakpoint is where I like it, but its so weak. Start with a new drilling altogether?
