monster bruiser or BVP punisher
« on: February 27, 2005, 06:55:03 AM »
today i was at the pba, and my buddy and i got free balls. Ive never thrown brunswick, but i can either take a monster bruiser, or the punisher. I think both are for med-light oil but im not sure. So, any recomendations as to which is better, my stats are in profile, and i want something to go a bit longer and flip, so which is better?

Bruiser isn't for medium-light.  More like medium, and carrydown if dulled.  It's a smooth ball as well.  So based on that, you should get the punisher since you said you want length and flip.

thanks, cuz i dont ahve anything for light, the closest i have is a saw blade polished up and it is a hammer test ball that goes longer to begin with so i think this will work. But i would like more input thanks,

One more vote here for the Punisher.  And if it turns out to be *too* pushy down the lane, you can always scuff the cover.

nope but between the 2 its the best for what you want. The bruiser is a polished solid, for medium oil, that is very controllable, not snappy at all. The punisher is a pearl for dry-ish lanes that snaps.

No.  Solid reactive.  Pearl reactives are different, because they have an additive that makes them go longer and turn harder (save more energy) than normal reactives.

BK, you can't just say it's "solid", since there are solid reactives, solid particles and even solid urethane.

Hmm, but either way, the punisher should be your choice.
