Absolute Inferno people....inquiries about this ball
« on: February 21, 2005, 11:36:44 PM »
Yes, I'm going to take the Brunswick plunge soon with the Absolute Inferno. For most of the people that have this ball, what would you say the oil handling capacity is for this ball, and how does it handle carrydown? I'm guessing based on the people that I've seen throw this ball, it can handle all types of medium conditions depending on the layout and surface preparation. My stats that I know are in my profile along with the equipment that I currently have. When I get this ball I'm getting a couple of others from different companies, and planning on moving out the Storm stuff that I have (Eraser Pearl Particle, Hot Wire, Barbed Wire). I just want to make sure that I have enough seperation between the Track line that I have for most of my heavy to medium-heavy needs and the lighter oil stuff I plan on getting (probably a Columbia Panic and an AMF VP2 or Valor-P tour...).

I think the Absolute can handle a GOOD amount of oil out of the box. For a pearl ball, it sure doesn't slip when you're on the soup. I've been able to use the ball in our Challenge league, which for this round is using a 47' Pattern put down right on top of the early league.

Sure I have to straighten up and slow it down, but it hooks as much as it needs to. People come in bringing CHARCOAL and I usually shine my stuff up.
