What condition do you use your Smokin on?
« on: January 24, 2006, 01:34:53 PM »
When I got this ball, I thought it would be useful on a fresh house shot with a medium oil volume.  What I've found is that the ball won't wrinkle until the third game and the lanes really start to dry out.  Am I alone in this?  The ball is laid out with the pin under the bridge and the cg kicked to the right a bit.  I expected more power at the breakpoint, but it just seems to lazily turn when it does.  I am a low rev, medium speed player and prefer to play the track area.  Is it the layout on the ball, or is it really meant for a medium light to light pattern?
