Title: Monster SlayR
Post by: xwenhan on July 22, 2005, 12:00:03 AM
Hi, anyone has a slayR can tell me if i can use it for dry wood lanes bucause my Original Inferno, drilled negative, is still too strong. I have a slow ball speed with a lot of revs.Any comments on drilling or something?

my girlfriend has it, slow ball speed, small amount of revs, and on dry wood, the ball is very angular and crushes the pocket. has a quantum core, so get it to the pocket and it'll do the rest.

highly recommended for dry wood!

I had one.  If you have lots of hand and no speed, you better keep it polished and learn to fluff the ball down the lane.  I had mine set up for control so it wouldn't yank of the dry boards.  It still hooked quite a bit on most house shots.

i had one and it was great for drier lanes---the coverstock really disliked oil. even more length can be achieved when you adjust the surface preparation.
