Going to give it a try as the heads are burning up early.

Anyone try this yet?

I have rough buff on one of my solids. It did make the ball cleaner and increases the back end slightly.  What I saw the most was less hook overall about 3-4 boards. I used 500 then rough buff on top of that.

I have my pin down 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 solid in box finish and added a coat of Powerhouse Polish to it.  I used it in a tournament and while everyone was fighting the burned up heads, I didn't have to move. It gave me great length through the front part of the lane while still maintaining a strong back end.

I didn't like polish on my Nexus, it didn't have the teeth in the oil and got a little squirty down the lane.  I felt that the duller it was the better it read the lane for me so I like it best around 2000, otherwise I was trying to fight the ball to do something that it wasn't particularly designed to do.  I liked opening up with the Nexus on the fresh and during the initial carrydown, and was more than happy to pull out my Massive Damage once the heads began to dry out
