Ball for med/light + carrydown
« on: March 02, 2005, 05:48:01 AM »
I bowl in this mini leauge, and im looking for something that i can use. Typically its medium to light oil, wiht carry down, its after a womens leauge.

Currently im using my CZ and it works just fine, just less backend.  But would like to add something else, cuz im a junkie, and i like bowling.

Dont forget about that Intense Inferno, created for this type of scenario.  The Activator plus is cleaner on the medium to light oil up front which allows for a bigger pop on the carry down than the original Activator found on the CZ.  Just make sure you get the proper drilling on the ball for your personal ball roll characteristics.

Alrighty, im happy with my CZ on the shot, its a pretty easy shot. Was just thinking that maybe there was something else out there in one of the midrange price balls.

I purchased a SlayR from brunsnick that would probally work well also, from the specs that i have read its very LOOOOOOONG and has a good ammount of pop on the backend, thanks guys.

lol okie, sounds good.

Iono what im gonna use, i guess im gonna continue using my classic, until i get the thumb pitch changed on my Impulse.  Who knows, i suck at bowling anywyas...

I always think, dull coverstock = loves carrydown, but thats just me.

FWIW, i see a slayR used every week by a low end tweener/stroker on my leauge, and its very angular in his hands.  VERY late strong ARC to the pocket.

What about the Blazing? Will it work on carrydown? I have mine drilled with the pin under the ring finger, and the cg stacked under, with a weight hole.

PUNISHER

Or, the Roto-Grip RS-1 is a STRONG long ball with a big back end.
