Fury Pearl Tour Edition
« on: February 04, 2008, 03:03:50 AM »
Has anyone tried the Fury Pearl Tour Edition yet? I am looking to replace a Zone Classic red pin that has close to 300 games on it. Has been a great dry lanes ball for me. I want to know if this ball has a similer reaction. Thanks for any help.

Thanks, Mike

Fury Pearl Tour Edition
5" Pin to PAP below fingers
Added a little Brunswick high gloss

I have a low pin Fury Pearl drilled the same and the TE is definitely a few boards weaker. It's not in Power groove territory for dry lanes, but it definitely has a place in the line up. It complements the Twisteds because it gets down lane so well.

I really like the way the Torsion core rolls on the Fury line. The weaker cover lets you stay closer to the friction, and it has a smoother roll to the pocket. When the head oil goes you can confidently move left and hook it. I wouldn't recommend it for burnt out high friction lanes, the power groove works there, but for medium dry its a bargain!

threw mine first time tonight, had it drilled with the pin in the center of grip and the cg down with no weight hole. the shot is incredibly dry and the fury pearl is smooth but very strong off the dry and hit nicely and carried very well. great ball and happy with the purchase.
