Question for all Ball Drillers ?

I have a high track PAP 6 1/2 . Medium speed, medium rev. Now I was thinking about getting a ball for short oil patterns and spotty condition or drier conditions. Would the blazing inferno would be a good ball? I like Brunswick equipment, I would like it to be my first choice before going with another ball company. For short oil patterns would a hook set layout be good? Any advise is appreciated.

A PAP of 6 1/2"? Whew... I'd also suggest a BVP Punisher or a normal Pearl Reactive Power Groove. The Punisher does not seem to work for everyone (can be very itchy), the PGs are quite strong balls for dryx to medium-dry conditions. The Dry/R is a tamer version, very smooth. Another ball to consider is the Zone Classic Red Pin. Weaker coverstock than the Punisher, much like a Dry/R on steroids with a true roll due to the core.

Hook set is a good choice, especially for weak coverstocks. I have seen and thrown Red Pins drilled this way, and the make a smooth, controllable curve. Pin was above brigde, PSA at ~115° from PAP.

You could also do a Red pin classic zone or the blazing inferno hard those would be better than a power groove

Red pin Classic is probaly the best for those conditons out of the ones mentioned. I have not thrown the punisher though. Red pin is a nice smooth arcing ball and works well on light-dry.
