My 4 yr old son got a T Zone from Santa for christmas. The rest of the night he would look at the ball and hold it and roll it around on the carpet. When he went to bed that night he actually slept with the ball. He would put his blanket over the ball and then hug it. He did the samething the following night as well. I am glad that he is so excited about bowling. Sometimes I think he maybe just a little to excited.

Nope! I don't think so!
I'm 35 and, from time to time, I do similar things myself

That's normal behavior...
Now if it were a White Dot he would have probably have discarded it already...
JUST KIDDING!

My wife put an end to that. She said I could sleep with her or the balls.
I chose the former over the latter.
I hope your sons interest doesn't fade. My son used to go with me all the time and really seemed to like bowling with me. Then, puberty hit. Interest in bowling wained and interest in "other" things took its place. Now, I can't get him to do hardly anything with me.

Hmmm, them's fightin' words!
Sd, I think it's sweet your son slept with his bowling ball. How awesome for him to get a great gift and be sooo excited about bowling
Now, for the important part: WHAT COLOR IS IT??

He wanted the Purple/Blue Sparkle ball. I got him a bag as well that I let him pick out and he went with the Red/Black T Zone II bag.

Yup, this is just the beginning! I first bought my son, now 11(but making 12 this month) his first ball, a green and blue Tropical Storm and a 1 ball roller bag. This was a year and a half ago. Then he wanted a new ball so I got him an Orbit Extreme Sky Blue for his first 200 game.
Then he was in the Bowler of the Year tournament, which be got 2nd place, but he won a 900 Global Link in a raffle drawing. His league high score is 247, and in a winter family doubles no-tap tournament, he got a 300 game! 8 of those strikes were natural strikes! Oh yeah, he got that with an early Christmas present, a TWISTED FURY SOLID!!!! Now he usually wheels around a 2 ball Roto-Grip roller bag with a joey attached. Now, with his birthday around the corner, I'll give you one guess what be wants.
