is that a chevy symbol?  LOL  My first thought hearing mineralite was something from the 60's....  but that may not necessarily be related to bowling...  memory is the first think to go... LOL

it's actually pretty nice looking. i don't know what it is but the box is old definitely. it's kind of white/grey/purple. brunswick is spelled out across the top of the side all the letters are in little purple circles. this help?

I think that might actually be what it is.  I've seen a couple and they actually have pin out.

I got mine about 8 or 9 years ago.  It is reactive resin but not terribly agressive.  I used it for dryer lanes and then gave it to my husband when I got tired of it.  It is not purple, it's kind of brownish, goldish with the logos in gold sparkle.

i think you misunderstood. the box has got purple on it, not the ball. it's not that bad looking of a ball really, kind of reminds me of a core power high rg, just not as bright of gold.

Only thing I can tell about the Mineralite is that it is/was a rubber ball?

That ball was so awesome(LT-48 Gold Pearl)

I think it's basically a Danger Zone Black Ice.  I had one back in 97 when I first started bowling yaba tournaments and it was so awesome when the lanes broke down.  It flares alot but the best thing about it is the late flare.  No early roll here, push and torque!  I'm ordering one this week too if there's any left by thursday.
