Title: Need a ball in between....
Post by: Boss_Hog on October 13, 2011, 12:25:00 PM
I have a 4.5 and a Slingshot.

What would be a good in-between ball?

4.5 is butter smooth with a nice even arc and slingshot gets down the lane with a late turn at the back.

Karma? Damage?

Thanks

karma pearl

I'm in the process of trying to find out where I fit in the bowling world. I do not know my tech specs of my game, but it's all a learning process.

Massive Damage, except you may never pick up the 4.5 again... This is a ball that is way under-priced!

I would agree with the Massive Damage being a good ball in the middle.  The Karma Pearl is slightly stronger than the Slingshot, and might not be enough for the heavier oil conditions that you mught face.  The Massive Damage would have a similar arc type roll like your C*(system) 4.5, and handles the heavier oil conditions.

massive damage or karma solid would fit nicely.

If your 4.5 is giving you a smooth reaction, then if you want a similar shape but with less overall hook, then I'd go Karma Solid.  If you want more definition at the break, then Karma Pearl.

Thanks I think I'll give the Karma Solid a try.

You won't regret it. very smooth  rolling, predictable ball. It's been a benchmark piece for me since it came out last season.
