I would agree with the Massive Damage being a good ball in the middle. The Karma Pearl is slightly stronger than the Slingshot, and might not be enough for the heavier oil conditions that you mught face. The Massive Damage would have a similar arc type roll like your C*(system) 4.5, and handles the heavier oil conditions.

If your 4.5 is giving you a smooth reaction, then if you want a similar shape but with less overall hook, then I'd go Karma Solid. If you want more definition at the break, then Karma Pearl.

You won't regret it. very smooth rolling, predictable ball.It's been a benchmark piece for me since it came out last season.
