Title: Need a heavy oil ball, not familiar with brunswick

I need something for a flood.....that revs up early...that will last a little while(durability)...

I was throwing a track freak with good results but it burned out QUICKLY!

I just bought a Black Cherry Bomb (buzzsaw) and I really like it, but it goes a little too long and not enough recovery on our league shot.

I'm not real familiar with the brunswick line, so I need help here.
Can brunswick help me?  OR suggest something else..

So sand the Black Cherry Bomb lightly to make it hook earlier and little more.
Why buy yet another new ball and risk the 49th disappointment?
The BCB uses a variation of Brunswick's Power Koil 18 coverstock and is not only strong, very flexible and easily modifiable, it is one of the longest lasting and most durable coverstocks ever made.

Start off with a grey nylon Scotch-Brite pad, which is about 1000 grit, and just barely take the shine off the cover. If that does not improve the reaction, then take off more of the shine, with light pressure.
If that doesn't work, use a green pad which is 600 grit and do the same procedure, a little at a time.

If you want pearl reactive, get the Inferno. If you want particle, get the Raging Inferno.
Two of the strongest balls I've ever had. Period.
And pba1g11 drilled my inferno for me. He recommends some sort of label layout for this weightblock.

They've been discontinued now, but if you can find one I think the AMF Evolution Tour is the greatest heavy oil ball I've ever had in my hands.

thanks, charlest....I have taken some of the shine off with a grey scotch brite pad...and it works much better...

However, I am looking for more...

In carrydown and long oil I'm feeling like I need a particle ball, but as I said I don't want something that is going to burn out in no-time.....


Raging inferno huh?  i'll have to check it out!

A number have people have mentioned the Warp Zone to me in private. I prefer the Raging Inferno, but I think that needs a specific drill and to be used by specific people for good results. It seems to be a little tricky. The Warp Zone seems to be more generic.

I believe the Warp Zone and the Time Zone are extactly the same ball mthat Brunswick made for Revolution Bowling. The Time Zone is the ECX Rebel and I belive the Warp Zone is the Black Particle Rebel.  If you like them you can find them a lot cheaper then Brunswick putting there name on the ball.
