Green Pin classic
« on: January 04, 2006, 01:53:02 PM »
As the local houses sell very few Brunswick balls looking for some comparison of strength of the green pin vs other manufacturers equipment. Also, I have been using only an OI whenever i sub, but looking for more length how different should the hook-shape be? OI drilled 4 7/8 pin to pap. cg just outside grip around a 95-100 degree drill.

Green pin and OI are very similar, only the asymmetrical core in the ZCGP offers more options and a more pronounced back end reaction.

If you are looking for more length at Brunswick, look out for a Punisher or the ZC Red Pin, or maybe a Rampage could do the job, too. All of them can be drilled to go longer and snap hard at the backend, and tehy all have, in general, a weaker coverstock than the OI or ZCGP.
