need help
« on: September 15, 2006, 03:11:10 PM »
I have a monster frenzy that is still in my arsenal. I am looking to replace it as im not getting the feel from it that i used to. It fits in my arsenal right below my track machine, and above my absolute inferno. The pin and CG are stacked, and the pin is above ring finger with a distance of probably 4.5 inches to the cg. Can anyone help me with a certain ball and/or drilling that will help me out.

From the current Brunswick balls, the Punisher with the same specs and layout will be the closest thing to the Frenzy - it is its direct successor. Other balls that might do the job are the Smokin' Inferno (a kind of high end solution, overall moer powerful but similar reaction) or a MoRich Sahara (same cover as Punisher, just a strong MB core with more pop from MoRich). Mabe the new Radical Inferno might also be an option, since it is also quite snappy and from what I have heard from Brunswick staffers around here needs a strong drilling - might also be similar in reaction to the Frenzy.

I am just wondering that your Frenzy goes "above" your AI? It might be snappier, but not handle as much or long oil? (At least, it should not do so by design?).

Hope this helps a bit?

I too am curious about the AI being the ball under the Monster Frenzy. Should be the other way around.

The only way an AI would appear to fit under a Frenzy is if someone isn't using it on enough oil and it's rolling out.

it is a 2 year old ball, and i havent resurfaced it yet. My Frenzy was resurfaced last month, and right now it has a stronger roll.
