If you look at my profile, you'll see that I'm a Brunswick guy. Actually that shouldn't matter. My question is, Will a Goliath work for my dad? He's a medium rev, slow to medium speed bowler. For this league, it's the normal house shot (Pull the ball inside, hit pocket but might leave a flat 10, miss outside, bang the pocket.) Currently, he uses Ebonite stuff, but I don't like it. My personal opinion is it dies too soon, and it sucks in my hands. Although, he won't admit it, he's been having the same problems. I got off the subject... If the Goliath isn't right, I'm open to any suggestions no matter what brand. Sorry if this post is jumpy, I've had a few Guinness's and Irish Whiskeys. Unfortunatetly, that's what it takes to get me to start a topic.

If you are a Brunswick guy why don't you put him into an Inferno?

With your Dad's medium speed, the Goliath may be too much ball for a garden variety house condition. If you're looking to put him into something that can handle the house shots and is reasonably versatile, I'd give the BVP Nemesis a look. In box condition, it's pretty strong, but the cover can be tweaked for more length and snap.
