Need help with my Inferno...
« on: March 03, 2004, 07:13:37 AM »
I have the original inferno. The ball is 16lb, 3.5 top weight
and has a 3 inch pin.

I drilled it pin under the ring finger with the cg kicked out.

The ball absolutely does nothing. I even sanded it and it rolls
early and its dead in the back.  I have thrown it on all conditons both polished and sanded.

I throw it the same as all my other equipment and it rolls like crap.

Any suggestions.

thats exactly what mines did earlier in the week. i heard all these good things about it and it did nothing. no pin action no nothing. it just died. your conditions may be too dry. i had to take mine to the pro shop and get it polished and it did a little better. that ball is made for a little oil before it can really do something. check your lane conditions when using the ball

Try a high-grit sandpaper or mild polish (Storm Exxxtras #2) like 1500 grit, and it works a lot better that way, for me at least.

I sanded mine down with 600 then polished it up with 100 squeeky clean polish, and it's one bad sumb1tch. I dunno if it will help you but it helped me.
