You deffinitely need something below the Nemesis. Take a look at the Rampage and Punisher.

The Ambush would be similar to the nemesis or maybe even stronger than it. I would go with a reactive or something along those lines. you can get some good results with a reactive.

I have an Ambush and an Absolute Inferno.  I use the Absolute Inferno all the time and almost never use the Ambush because it rolls out and leaves splits. And believe me when I tell you I can throw the ball hard if I need to, but the Ambush would need really heavy oil or carrydown to work.  I have even tried to throw it right after lane machines ran at three different houses. My Columbia Action will work great after lane machines run, but Ambush is another story. It lacks hitting power for me for typical house shot.

I don't have a rampage or radical inferno, but one or the other will be my next purchases.

eh bro - you have it sanded right?

doesn't matter what grit.

it says on the brunswick site, that it can take up to heavy, trust me, it cannot.

i have this ball polished nicely like it was OOB, slightly more glossed, throw it on medium/broken down - and works perfectly.

the sanded way always rolled out for me too. i guess after 500 games on it, I know how to use it lol.

Heh Machine101!

Believe it or not out of the box.  We drilled it to start up early for heavy oil and carrydown.  The couple times I could use it it worked great.  Just don't have the lane conditions to throw it for most part. Not the ball's fault.  Even though it is out of box finish it doesn't look really polished.Sometimes the same ball will show up with slightly different factory finish. I am going to leave it like this for those rare nights when nothing moves.  Tried it on two synthetics and two wood houses.  It hooks big time for me, more than my Action which is leverage drill!
