Looking for a ball with alot of backend!!! Right now Im using a Perfect Rival with pin up above the bridge, Rapid Fire Pearl with pin above the ring finger and a Inferno with the pin above the bridge. Thinking about getting high performence ball and drilling it with the pin above my middle finger. What you think about ball??

Hot Sauce = left hand turn at breakpoint.

Seriously, the only thing this ball's missing: a turn signal.

OR

Complete NV = left hand turn at the breakpoint if you can play a little further out. Move inside and it becomes more versatile. Basically, Hot Sauce that can also play the mids once they break down.

OR

NVD = Complete NV more controllable

OR

Magic = Complete NV without the oil absorption, so there's less maintenance, and no ball death.

But stay away from Ebonite cause their stuff has been knowen to die, why not go with a Twisted Fury Destruction or Wild Ride? Or Maybe a Pure Tactics that is a bone crusher on the backend.

The Rattler is very angular but my Wild Ride handles more oil. The TF Destruction is in between the two for me.

Ya caught me. Ebonite fan big time. That's an understatement. It's all I've thrown for about a year and a half. My current arsenal is 12 scythes strong. Looking to add some Vibes, though, as Ebonite hasn't provided the middle of the road equipment I've been looking for very well, so I'm looking to get a couple hammers.

I'm surprised you don't find your rapid fire pearl to be all the backend you need. I don't find myself throwing it much as it's just a dead left turn and it's a little hard to control sometimes unless the conditions are just right. But the 2nd dimension will get you that type of reaction as well but it will handle more oil. If you drill a virtual gravity right you can get that hockey stick reaction out of it as well.

Stay away from the Wild Ride, that ball is crap in a box... nothing like what it was supposed to be. If you are looking for something that has huge backend and that will handle medium to heavy oil, there are a few options.

Ebonite Magic/Hammer Hot Sauce/Ebonite One Pearl/900 Global S75/ 2nd Dimension/Virtual Gravity/. I have owned the wild ride (x3), and the rattler. The rattler was a decent ball, I could never get the advertised reaction out of the wild ride. As for the Ebonite ball death, I have 118 games on my magic, never been resurfaced or hot water bathed. Just cleaned after every set and its an absolute monster. My Hot Sauce now has 60 games on it, and same thing no decrease in reaction. Now the VG... not so much!

Both. As far as I can tell, the Destruction starts reading slightly sooner and not quite as angular as the Rattler. Does that answer your question?

No ball will match up with everyone on every condition. Mine is still the strongest pearl I've ever thrown. Not the most angular, but it handles more oil than any other that I've tried. Sorry yours hasn't been right for you.

I 2nd that idea...break point is a great ball, awesome hit and backend monster.

I personally like to stay away from Brunswick (all my equipment has hit weak) and ebonite (always have to mess with OOB just to get it to do what it's supposed to and they die too quick)...
