Title: New Ball
Post by: kyledavis on December 28, 2003, 08:50:58 PM
Hey.  I have been bowling with a HPC by Brunswick and I'm thinking it is time for a new ball.  I carry a 180 average which is dragged down by the fact that I have to constantly slow down.  My teams favorite advice is "speed kills, slow down" and then I can get it into the pocket.  I'm wondering if I need to just keep slowing down or if there is a ball out there that will slide further and snap harder at the end.  I'm a fairly new bowler (3 years) I had some cheap plastic 8ball and the HPC is my second, my pro shop tends to talk in terms that I don't really understand, lately he's been saying something about a pearlescant finish if I want it to snap harder.  I'm just looking for something that will take a left turn when it gets to the end of the oil.  Any body got advice or is there a laymens website.
