Maxxx Zone? Twisted Fury Destruction?

Maxxx Zone is more popular on TV PBA finals.

Just curious, which of the two is more popular in your league (bowling alley).

Neither around here, we drill many more Copperheads and Swarms than either the Maxx or the TFD.

I have not seen either in any of my 3 leagues.  That is actually surprising to me so I was going to get the Destruction to go with the solid and pearl I all ready have but since the Destruction is stronger than both of them I figured what's the point I cant use the solid very often as it is.

Well, from my experience, and from watching people I know who own the Destruction, it is most certainly *not* stronger than the Twisted Solid.  For me, the Destruction is within a board or two of the original Twisted in terms of overall hook, but it reads the friction stronger than the Twisted did.  So I can use the Twisted on the fresh to blend out a front-to-back wet-dry condition, and then switch to the Destruction once the condition starts to break down.

God how true is this statement. I have a Ultra Zone can't use because there never seems to be enough oil at my home house. My twisted is highly polished on top of 2000 abralon and can only use half the night.  I asked my brother about getting a new ball(he happens to be the center manager and my driller also) His response, "something that doesn't hook" I would love to get a Maxx and a Wild Ride but reality is I would never use them in league cause there just isn't enough oil.
