New Big B Releases ?
« on: January 05, 2012, 01:07:44 AM »
Ordinarily Brunswick releases at the end of January begining of February. So far it's been really quiet. Anything coming down the pike soon.

I saw a Facebook post from Rash that he was testing out some new balls.  In the past, it hasn't been but a month or so following him getting his hands on new balls that we see the release information.  That was back in the middle of December, so I would expect something towards the middle of January, beginning of February.

Seriously, if anybody thinks they need more ball or options than the C Systems, Nexus's, Damage, and Revolver series provide, they are only kidding themselves.  Your game ain't going to be found in a box.

My wife has what seems like 100 pairs of shoes.  Gets a new dress for every outing.  And can justify to herself and try to justify to me that she needs every one of them, even when it's time for that garage sale.  I have the same problem with bowling balls.  She's not convinced I need all the bowling balls, I'm not convinced she needs all the clothing.  It works.

Not saying I need one. I was just commenting on the fact that usually by this time info has leaked out on the winter releases before nationals starts.  Some people, drink, some gamble, I buy bowling balls.

With a new Hell Raiser on the way I'm sure there will also be some new Brunswick stuff as well. Doesn't mean anyone needs any of it, but if someone doesn't have the current stuff they may think one of the newer releases could interest them more.

I have none of the newer Systems balls or the Nexus balls so I will wait and see wait what may be next on the horizon. I already have a few bowling balls that use the same cover as the Massive Damage(which i love) and one that was the same cover as the Lethal Revolver. So maybe something new in one of those lines. You never know.

Past couple years they've been releasing a few each in January, April, July, October.  I doubt they have plans of slowing down anytime soon, so I'd expect something pretty quick.

I've got them all.  Not that I need them all, but part of my gig is to promote the brand and sell Brunswick.  So I get them all and I love having them all.  I keep 8-10 of them and then I donate the excess to our local High School bowling program and others have jumped on board with this program as well.  We gave away over 30 bowling balls to the high school program this summer and arranged for them to be plugged and redrilled at a local shop for little to nothing.  And of course, its great for Brunswick because the high school bowlers see Brunswick giving back and obviously, become loyal to this brand.

I always look forward to the new releases.  I've always loved getting a new ball and having that fresh drill aroma.

The Nexus are out for a month and everybody already wants to know whats next?

Look at the DV8 balls that are set to release in 2 weeks, the new Hell Raiser seems appealing, maybe a fit between the two Nexus?

My point exactly, Brandon.  but I do like what Andyman does with his excess balls instead of what the rest of the ball whores do.

Being on staff I donate most of mine to the high school bowlers or bowlers I know that don't have the funding or are on limited income. I look for Brunswick to release a Slingshot solid and I heard that they are considering it for the Slingshot line. It won't be to take away, but to add to the entry level line for another option.

Train a child up in the way they should go and when they are old they will do some "Damn Good Bowling", be a "DV8" and not turn from it, besides bowling starts with a Big B!

Come on boys we know that the Nexus is old now...the box finish is worn off so we need a new ball.

Maybe the ball whores should also try supporting Brunswick by purchasing Siiar pads

I'd love to see a solid slingshot, but like I have stated in a previous post I think Brunswick is better off not selling that much hook at such a low price point.  A solid urethane slingshot would be viable, but not a reactive, it would hurt the sales of the blue karma and I would suspect that the company profits more on the sale of a karma than a slingshot.  Besides, that would fill a bigger gap, and the Avalanche Urethane Pearl has been on the market for a little while... your thoughts?
