I guess this means they won't be using the Avalanche Danger name I suggested - LOL

Very nice looking new stuff. I was hoping for a little more aggressive core like this with the PK17 covers/Slingshot series, but will gladly take the PK18 covers as well.
Had a lot of success with this series of equipment this season.
Was the sales low or just ok on the Damage and this a possible replacement in a lower series?

This sounds and looks like a true winner combo - not only performnace-wise, but also concerning value for money. Probably anything a league bowler might need - if I had not ny Revolution Renegade (very similar package), I'd immediately get one. Sweet!

It is meant to be in the price point of Freezes from Columbia. Brunswick needed to get something in the area again after they got rid of the Avalanches. They will be on the shelf as soon as possible to compete with the Freezes.
Who needs a 300 or 800, when I have a 294 and a 295!?!?!

These two balls have marked my official return to bowling. I haven't really cared in 3 years until this point.

Bowlingballdiscounts is showing them for $75 with free shipping.
Now sure if that is just for pre-orders or if that will be the online price. I plan on ordering both.

The site is saying there are no fees and free shipping. Never bought from them, I usually go through bowlingball.com but didnt see any listed yet.
Still I like the price point.

While I have never ordered from them online, the site does say there is no handling / packing charges:
"Are there any hidden costs for my order?Top No. We do not charge any handling or packaging fees, and with our free UPS ground shipping to the continental United States the price you see is the price you pay."
If shipping is free, why is there a Packaging Fee of $4.95? Shipping is free, no matter how many items or how heavy or how far they must go within the continental USA. Many times our shipping cost exceeds $30 to $40 on a single order. The Packaging Fee is PER ORDER, not per item, so you could order 50 items, pay no shipping, only the one-time, per order charge of $4.95. This Packaging Fee is standard on many sites and is a set amount to help defray the cost of packaging and stocking items.
FYI Even when you add this fee/charge it, their prices are still very good and I have had no problems when I have ordered from them. Balls comes very close to what you specify.MGBowling is the probably owned by the same people/company - same look and feel and prices to the web site.

Cranky "old guy", aren't you?

"The Curmudgeon wrote: ......Same line, 6 different high end balls, and striking with all. I asked him if he really thought there was a big difference between them and he said "Naw, I just need to say that I threw them so I can talk about them with customers". What does that tell you?......"
It tells me that we don't disagree - so why are you throwing that C-System. I still have my Purple Rhino Pro and Fuze Eliminator in the bag - you can't wear those old balls out. Actually my 'current bag' looks like this:
Fuze Eliminator - solid particle
Python - pearl
Danger Zone - solid
Avalanche Solid - solid
Avalanche Slide - pearl
Purple Rhino Pro - solid
Slingshot - pearl
T-Zone - plastic
Needless to say I don't carry them all to league - usually bring four including the plastic - rarely get to use the top three or four anymore - not enough oil - maybe a Karma Pearl in the future, or maybe not - often only throw two balls all night:)

"The Curmudgeon wrote: Good point. The reason is I don't throw 16 lbs anymore and my old DZ and other old stuff is 16 lbs."
Yeah, I haven't been able to throw a 16 lb in a couple of decades - it was making my body hurt too much afterward - darn shame - you can't beat the carry of a 16 lb ball 'straight into the pocket' - you really don't need to put near as much hand into your shot - these days if I want to see someone throw old school I have to watch Norm Duke; and he pays the price nearly every time he bowls:)
