New Brunswick Releases
« on: July 04, 2011, 12:42:37 AM »
I am looking at the new balls, alti-max and Lethal Revolver.  My current Brunswick balls are:

Ultimate Inferno (dull)

Ultimate Inferno (polished)

C(System) alpha-max

Damage

TZone (spare ball)

Which of the new balls do you think would fit in this lineup?

It depends on the reaction shape that you're seeking.

If you want something really angular, the C-(System) ulti-max would be a good fit.

If you want something that won't change direction quite as quickly, consider the Massive Damage.

Ray,

Where would the Lethal Revolver fit in my lineup?  I'm looking for something to fit between the Damage and alpha-max.

If you're looking for something to fit squarely between the alpha-max and Damage, you *could* use the Lethal, but you'd have to put some polish on it.  I threw mine for the first time today, in box finish, and it's *strong.*  I'm looking to use the Lethal on the fresh, or on longer patterns where I need to open up the track.

Bill,

If you were coming to my pro shop with that ?, I would lean you to an Ulti Max.  You don't really have any high end balls with a lot of back end like the Ulti is.  If your Ultimate's are ready to retire though, a Lethal Revlolver would fit right in there.  Good luck, and keep tossing the balls with the Big B.

The Massive Damage is a nice step up from the original. Breaks earlier but has the same shape and reaction.

But from what I heard it may overlap with your Infernos. I'll defer to the Big-B experts on that!
