Why would they release another new Fury ball when they JUST came out with the Fury Pearl? I dont think they will have another fury ball until Jan or Feb 08.

I was told that Brunswick was in great shape with high performance balls because they produce the cores in the old plant. As to the exact reason why I'm not sure but from what I've heard about problems at the new plant they are sort of between a rock and a hard place and need to produce only power grooves ,t zones , and vis a balls for over two weeks just to be caught up on those.

The word I just got is it will have a new coverstock and a assymetrical core.I hope this doesn't  mean they stop producing zone assymetrics, Blast zone is one of my favorites so far.

I think you're thinking of the Blast Zone and Sidewinder.  Someone may be behind the times.  The BZ has a "new" asymmetric core and the cover on the Sidewinder is the first hybrid particle cover that they've released.

I'm inclined to agree with Mike, they just released a bunch of new stuff (Fury Pearl, Blast Zone, Sidewinder) and are gearing up for the Avalanches.  Another new release in the Fury line would be a bit much.

The new ball from brunswick is to be another fury as per our ball suppler.
It dose not make sence to me either but it will be the "Twisted Fury" with a new cover and wieghtblock. The wieghtblock will be assymetrical.

*Confused look* why come out with another fury if they are delaying the Avalanches?

I agree with you but i don't see anybody in the know who is telling me that this info is bogus, just ole Richard head that knows that the cores aren't made in Michigan.

I wouldn't expect anything new as far as a Fury is concerned until the Total Inferno gets dropped.

You guys crack me up, the Fury pearl hasn't even been out a month and you guys are going crazy for a new one.  Of course none of the Brunswick guys are going to say anything about it yet, I'm sure nobody's supposed to know about it yet.  I've been seeing Rick Benoit about two or three times a week recently and he hasn't said anything either, and I'm not going to ask him and certainly wouldn't post anything here if he happened to tell me anything about it.  Patience!

I wouldn,t say anyone is overly excited just curious because of the production delays on other equipment and why you would call a ball with a different coverstock and core a Fury.

Well, there's nothing to even be curious about.  There's no reason to expect a new Fury anytime soon, and if they announce it will be released at a certain time and then delayed, then there might be something to discuss.  And I really don't think it will be a different core, probably just an asymmetric Torsion, if what you heard is even accurate.
