New Release due out in December
« on: September 18, 2006, 10:36:54 AM »
From my pro shop owner whos trying to form up a pro-am tournament later in the winter he wants to do a deal for the newest brunswick release. Well hes trying to see what the newest ball will be at that time, Brunswick will not say what the new ball name will be just yet. All they say is it will be a new ball in the Zone Line. I feel pretty confidant with the information I got from him as he usually keeps me up todate on all the brunswick gear. Im saving up for it now.

Just posting so those of you who are looking for a new ball this winter will have something to save up for. Just keep your eyes open.

New Inferno!!!
hehe, j/k radical too new.
But here are some REAL suggestions for the future(no towering inferno or disco inferno).

Smoldering Inferno- Something For the Drier lanes. Maybe some smokin characteristics. My smokin seemes to handle dryness better than any other inferno.

Sizzlin Inferno- Solid Octane cover, some core(?)

OutRAGING Inferno- A newer, more controllabe raging inferno. Maybe It was just me, But the raging plain out stunk. Because of it, I no longer like particles.

Inferno Re-Lit- dee dee dee, bring the OI back. . .

Real suggestions here. . .and I made them all up in algebra class today too.
--------------------
Its hard to play with an inferno and not get burned. Last time I threw my inferno, the opposing bowler definitely got burned.

Since I only throw Infernos, just call me the Flamethrower.

Pimpin ain't easy-it's mandatory.

This is 10% luck, 20% skill, 15% concentrated power of will, 5% pleasure, 50% pain, and 100% reason to remember the name

Sizzling inferno was an idea from brunswick back when the scorchin came out. It was between Sizzlin' and Scorchin

Multi-color particle. they want to show off there ablitity to produce multi- color particle balls.

I'll put money on it, if it's solid particle or particle pearl. stronger or sharper ambush.

My bet would also be on a particle Zone. According to MoRich rumors there is a particle pearl ball coming soon, and with the lack of particle equipment in the higher performnace ranks of the Brunswick assortment, this would make some sense to me. Probably a 2 color ball?

Additionally, there would be space for a lighter condition Zone ball. But with the Punisher, the Smokin' Inferno and the Radical Inferno around, the only selling point would be the core, not a true gap it might fill. Bad chances, I'd say, unless the Smokin' is discontinued to open the space. Then, the Activator Advance would become "available" to the Zone line. That one, with the higher RG core from the Impulse Zone...?

I do not think that we will see Activator Maxx too soon on a Zone ball, as well as Octane. BTW, it could be that the Octane formulation is limited to a pearl material. From its characteristics on the lane, I think a solid version would not work very well as an oil option. IMHO, this "role" is filled by the Activator Maxx material.

Let's wait and see.

Wow this is an original thought.  The 1000th zone ball.  Can you say, put it to bed and think up a new line of balls.

I guess Brunswick can't think of a new original line name.

Speaking the truth you only wish you would write.

Why would you change the name of the line after selling so well for so many years? How long has the F150 been around? I don't see Ford changing the name of the truck. It is a popular line of balls that sells well it is about name recognition, and people know the Zone line of balls.

Hey guys,

This summer, when I was at a trade show, Bill Orlikowsky was there and he kinda let it slip on the new Zone ball. He said they're looking into replacing the Strike Zone. I asked him if they were going to put the Activator Max cover on a Zone ball, and he said it is a definate possibility. All I can say is the Activator Max cover on a Zone core would be AWESOME!

I highly doubt they would replace anything, ecept perhaps the strike.  The Vapor is still safe.  I actually doubt that they will even do this, there still is not a ball that has truely replaced the Classic, and I personally don't feel as though they could release a ball without adressing that issue.  I figure that it will be what I predicted for their last release.  Zone core with activator advance.  If its not this they will probably alter the core.  The zone core is a great one, but it has been out for a while and could use an update.  If they use other technology I doubt it will be straight up old core, rather they may use an old core and modify it to make it asymetrical, like they did with the danger zone core and the zone asym core.

Please Brunswick don't come out with a polished vapor.  (I'm only half joking)
