New resurgance of my classic
« on: April 18, 2005, 11:35:47 AM »
Well since getting my absolute, nothing else has really seen the lanes much.  The ball is just unbelieveable on every pattern i've bowled on, except the house shot.  My average is down quite a bit this year and I think part of it might be because my equipment is drilled for specific reactions to compliment my other equipment.

Haden't used the classic in about 2 weeks, but decided what the hell.  Shinned it back up and pulled it out in league.  First game 300.  lol.  Haden't shot one in what seems forever, about 3 years.  First ABC 300, so pretty cool.  The ball gave me so much area that night it was rediculous.  If I would have made the right moves a little sooner 800 would have been easy, wound up with 776.  I had been questioning when my classic, with a more skid set reaction, would be better than my absolute and it looks like i've found it.

We shall see next week if it continues

Nice shooting Mike, it's too bad you couldn't keep that going in Rockford this year.

Great rolling, but a college man needs to know that "ridiculous" is not spelled with an "e". I weep for UCF.

lol thanks Kdog, yea nothing like your entire season being worthless.  Yea yea some say oh what about all the other tournaments that we did well, but to me nothing matters besides the grand daddy of them all.  I worked so hard this year, and the last few weeks especially, we were ready to take that title and now it's all for not.  I don't know what i'd do if I was a senior, but next year we will definitely be tough to beat, mark my words.

Yeah Mike, I'm sure you guys will be back with a vengeance next year.  I feel bad for the seniors on the team that have to miss their last chance (and probably best as you guys are/were considered favorites) to win the championship.  What was it that happened, just the one guy dropped below full time status in credits and didn't tell you guys?  I wouldn't consider this year as a total loss, as you did come out and show everyone that you guys all have serious game and are always contenders.  Good luck to you guys next year.

Yea that's what happened.  He dropped a class, before withdrawal deadline which was early march.  And that put him below 12 hours for full time and he didn't say anything.  He feels terrible of coarse, but nothing can be done now.
