Title: New Tour Site by Brunswick
Post by: BrunsBob on January 07, 2005, 07:58:07 AM
You gotta check out the new link that Brunswicks' Tour Rep, Rick Benoit, has set up. It has a link that updates action on the Tour as we speak. He has great insight into the action and will eventually have great reviews and photos of some of the equipment being used out there. It is in the infant stages right now, but still has good reading.

It is just in the infancy stages. I'm sitting with Benoit as we speak and watching him update different areas. He plans to have photos of the balls being used by all players later down the road.

Right now, if you click on "by Clicking Here" spot on the HomePage, it will take you to PBA tournament stuff. If you click on the bracket it will take you to a complete bracket where Rick gives you his predictions for each upcoming match. If you click on each match it will appear in the middle.

More to come in the near future. Benoit has great insight as to what's going on
out there.

Bob, has the site been down for a while. I had it bookmarked but I seem to remember it wasn't working.

It looks great and I can see it has the information we have all been wanting. It is again in my bowling favorites.

Thanks to Brunswick.

Wes, How come he is beast and not diesel? You southern boys confuse me.

I'm glad that the Brunswick Insiders is (back) up. Not just because of the product detail, but it gives us an inside scoop of what's going on in the center. Gives us an idea what kind of balls the guys are throwing and what not.

Site looks great.  I already have it on my favorites.  I am amazed how short the spans are on almost everyone.  My span is 4 1/2 and is 1/4 longer than almost everyone.  They also have more rev pitch too.

Cool site.

I was looking at the drill specs for Fagan.  I've never seen anything like that before in my life.  Can anyone explain the advantages and/or disadvantages of such a drilling?  Thanks!

thats the sarge easter grip like robert smith has and our local buddy on here nick smith. Its for HIGH rev players to cut down some revs and get more forward roll on the ball.

Looks much nicer than the previous versions. Really helps to get the bowlers out there and more in the view of the public, this way the people that become interested in each of the individuals feel like they know them better. GOOO MIKA!

Gabe,

You are soooooo correct! Unfortunately I do not have the time to edit most of what I write. I am adding content as I am working with bowlers. This week if you notice the site is not actually live, we are only looking for feedback. I am testing the amount of time I have to work on it. The whole time I am working on this I am talking to at least three different people at the same time. Hope you get the picture. The purpose is to get the information out as quick as possible.

Rick

Your web site looks really good.  I enjoyed the bios. And the others are right, the additional planned info and pics are what we are interested in. I have put your site in my favorites section.

Thanks for doing this work for all of us.

I'm not a huge Brunswick fan (not a basher either) but I have to say that is one of the coolest sites I've ever seen.  Great info and great insights into what the Brunswick PBA guys are doing week to week.
