Sidewinder
« on: November 02, 2008, 01:42:12 AM »
I have a friend that just purchased a Sidewinder. He bowled with it for the first time on Sat. He did not do well. He stated to me that two other people who also has the Sidewinder told him that the ball needs to soak up oil to be effective. Is that a accurate ? I was thinking about getting one and was curious. Thanks Carlos

Did the Sidewinder not match up with your game ?

If you're asking me... I sold it since I dropped to 14# from 15#.

Do you notice your scores going up since the change ? I hear that there is little difference in hitting power. What's your take. I've been up and down this year and was wondering if I need to drop down. I think I will consult a coach first to see if I'm not doing something right. Thanks

Sounds like a separate topic to me...

i think it might have been the ball. ive heard from my pro shop that a lot of the original first batch sidewinders were'nt as good. i dont know if that was a rumor or not but mine had almost no reaction or hitting power.
