New Vintage ball PLEASE
« on: May 09, 2019, 01:35:10 PM »
With the redo of the Vapor Zone, which I find to be one of the best balls in my arsenal (comprised of 90% Storm/Roto) - any chance we could see the new vintage Inferno core wrapped in the new Vapor Zone cover?

Vintage Absolute Inferno --- I'M A BUYER ... NOW.

Come of BowlingForDonuts, be honest. If they release it today, you will wait until it's discontinued(probably in two weeks) before you buy one.  ;D

TL;DR longer than that.  Probably would end up getting a single drill off ebay to replace my AI OG in 2025 or so (instead of being smart and getting it from Buddies for $75, 6 weeks after release).  AI OG still owns house shot today (so good +1 on name alone lol).  This supposed "vintage" stuff is too strong.

Everyone complains about stuff being "too strong" and yet they keep buying it. Seems you could go down the price scale to the stuff made for less hook vs buying mid and upper mid stuff.

TL;DR yep but tend to prefer older stuff to lower strength modern stuff on house shot generally (have both though).  Only recent release I have bought is a Venom Recoil which is about as much ball as I need (drilled it a little weak even).

Vintage Absolut Inferno would be the way to go no doubt.

Seems like that should be a lock for Vintage line, along with a Black Beauty and a Custom LTD.

Good call. A Vintage Black Diamond with a diamond shaped core would actually be awesome.

Really anything they sold a kazillion of could go in the "Vintage" line.

My vote is for Sapphire Zone Pearl, but that is far too much of a niche piece to ever make the list.

I thought I heard they couldn't make the helix the same way with the USBC manufacturing rules today.  It would be more like some Shadow Ops urethane/reactive hybrid more than likely instead.
