Title: New Viz-a-balls

I'd like to see that effect on the lanes, maybe it'd distract the competition. Nothing's better than the Monster's Inc Vis-A-Ball with the eye on the side of it. I have one, gets tons of complements everywhere.

Post by: KDawg77 on October 13, 2005, 02:57:01 PM: They use F-5 for the adversary squadrons likes those at Top Gun School (Miramar, CA.). Those are very similar to T-38s. The Navy itself doesn't fly Harriers.

Post by: BrunsBob on October 13, 2005, 06:49:10 PM: Speaking of "autographing" it, I've been doing some testing with writing on these White Viz's with Sharpies. I've come to the conclussion that even when the ball is shiny, like how it's going to come out of the box, the Sharpie writing held up good to the touch without smearing. When I threw it on the lanes the writing rubbed off a little, but was still visible. We are currently checking with the USBC to see if the writing would be considered a foreign substance and not allowed. Tommorrow I will be spraying over the lettering with an aresol enamel to see how well it protects the writing. We're almost certain that this process will not be acceptable to the USBC, but we are doing it more to see if we can preserve an autograph permanently, not to be bowled with.

It exists, i've seen a lady bowling with it, white and black stripes that look hypnotic as it revs down the lane, i'd like to get my hands on it!

Well it's not a Viz A Ball... Ebonite made the Zebra though. It was also remade a little later.

Beat the competition, with a Hello Kitty ball. Yeah, right!

And the glove is gorgeous, too. I ordered one for a friend as a birthday present, and somewhere here in the forum some real pics have been posted (I guess by BrunsNick) some time ago, end of August, I think. Really looks great!

I think that is the bottom of a Tomcat. I believe 15's look slightly different than what you see.

F-18 and F-14 Navy

Of course there are more aircraft than that. Personally, I think a B-52 on the USAF ball would be cool.

The perfect name would be the Disco Inferno to go with the Inferno line. I got a response back saying it was forwarded to their production manager, but nothing as of yet.
