Next ball advice... maybe an inferno

Hi everyone,
I'm new on here but not new to bowling.
I think I'm in need of new reactive ball as my lineup of the Brunswick monster black/red and zone HPC is looking a bit dated!

A general summary of my style and home lanes are:
Speed around 17mph, medium revs, semi-roller ball.
Flat medium-light oil to around 38 feet.

I'm not up to date with new kit on the market but have always got on with Brunswick balls so I was thinking of an Inferno but unsure as to which one.
I'm looking for a bit back end and hitting power then my drilled long monster but would still like it to go fairly long.

Would anyone have any ideas?

The Inferno line is already dated, too... you missed 3 high end lines since your HPC

Anyway, if you are into something close to the Inferno from Brusnwick, I'd take a look at the Rattler. Same pearl cover and a symmetrical core with slightly higher RG than the Inferno, should do well on medium shots and is a good value-for-money offer (IMHO). For a new true oil ball, as a replacement for your HPC, if need be, you might check the Maxxx Zone from the same line. And for the Red/Black Monster, the Avalanche Pearl with a stronger layout than the R/B M. should do the job.

Just my 2 cents...

The Rattler or a Wild Thing would be "can't miss" balls because they are GREAT on house shots. Good luck.

Hey Davey_boy, If you were looking for a ball out of the inferno line, then I suggest you get a python. It is a great ball, it has the inferno core, with enmotion coverstock. This ball is not overly aggressive and I feel would be a little bit better for your transition from an older resin to a newer ball. Now this is just a suggestion. Go to your proshop and maybe he can help you on a decision.

Thanks for your idea's guys, much appreciated.
By the looks I'm after a ball with a high RG and high differential so I will check out the balls you've suggested and see how they compare

With medium-light oil and length on the short side, I would look at either the Rattler or Avalanche Solid.  Because you said it's flat, I'd opt for a smoother move off the end of the pattern and I feel like those balls are the best options for that, plus they seem great for said oil condition.  that's how I feel anyways.
